I want you to ask yourself, "is there enough Japanese ambient/drone/loop music in my life right now?" Well if there isn't, then Ocean fills the gap pretty nicely.
Saito Koji's musical style is reminiscent of William Basinski, it's uses synthesized loops over a long period of time to create a really hypnotic effect. It may sound boring, and if it's not your thing then it probably will be. For ambient fans though, this really deserves a look. Even though it's sparse on composition, what is actually here sounds very otherworldly and peaceful.

hmm quite like. good thought to suggest legit methods of acquisition, but i think i'll stick to torrents. that is, until i start working ;)
